Texas Bowties

Welcome to the San Antonio Chapter of the First Generation Camaro Club! We are a group of bowtie owners and enthusiasts that gather regularly for car shows, cruises, and other family friendly events.


Meetings are held every third Thursday of the month at Ancira Winton Chevrolet, 6111 Bandara Rd, San Antonio, Tx 78238 at 7:00pm (410 & Bandera Rd).  If you have a First Gen Camaro or GM bowtie and are not a member, stop by and meet the group.

5th Annual Texas bowties Spring Open Car Show

Ancira Winton Chevrolet on Bandara Rd at 410

Registration begins at 8am, and judging begins at noon.  This show is open to all cars, trucks, and motorcycles.  It is sponsored by Ancira Winton Chevrolet, and Security Service Federal Credit Union. All proceeds from the show will benefit The Magdalena House.  In previous years the Texas Bowties First Gen club has raised close to $20,000 for this incredibly worthy organization. We can't do this without YOU!


Please come out on April 12th to support our club and the Magdalena House.

Texas Bowties members are getting their cars ready for the following events!


April 17-18, 2015

14th Annual Lonestar Roundup

Location 1: Travis County Expo Center 7311 Decker Lane, Austin TX 78724

Location 2: Congress Ave, Austin Texas

The Lonestar Roundup takes place from 10am to 6pm Friday and Saturday at the Travis County Expo Center just 15 minutes drive east of downtown Austin.  The show features live music, BBQ, a giant swap meet, vendors and tons of traditional cars from across the country and cruise nights spread out all around Austin.

Members are locking in the date on their calendar, reserving rooms, and getting their cars ready for the event.  Sceduled events for memebrs include the Lonestar Roundup and Cruising and Parking Congress Friday and Saturday afternoon/evening.

Bexas County Citizens on Patrol 7th Annual Car Show

Bexar County Citizens on Patrol is gearing up for their 7th annual car show.  Last year they had over two hundred vehicles participating.  This year they added some new classes to include 3 Street rod classes and 3 Specialty classes for Camaros, Mustangs and Mopars. All proceeds to benefit the Bexar County Sheriff's Cellular On Patrol and Bexar County Sheriff's Explorer Post 401

18th Annual Cruisin' the Coast

Mississippi Gulf coast (Coastwide)

Thousands of classic cars converge on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for an entire week of rock 'n' roll, drag races, swap meets, headline entertainment, and FUN...all along the Gulf Coast! Car enthusiasts parade their antique, classic, hot rods & custom vehicles up & down Highway 90 with entertainment provided at designated stops in Biloxi, D'Iberville, Gulfport, Long Beach, Bay St. Louis, Ocean Springs & Pascagoula. 

Some Texas Bowties members are locking in the date on their calendar, reserving rooms and getting their cars (and trailers) ready for the event.
